Nipigon-Red Rock District High School Announces New Vice-Principal
MARATHON, Ontario – Superior-Greenstone District School Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Lisa MacLeod as the new Vice-Principal of Nipigon-Red Rock District High School, effective August 29, 2024. Lisa brings a wealth of experience and a strong commitment to educational excellence and inclusivity, aligning perfectly with the district's vision and goals.
Lisa joins Nipigon-Red Rock District High School (NRHS) with a diverse background in the trades and a proven track record of creating innovative maker spaces and supportive environments for Indigenous learners. Her most recent accomplishment includes spearheading the development of the KZ Lodge at Hammarskjold High School, showcasing her dedication to fostering inclusive and safe learning environments.

Her expertise in creating soft-landing environments and promoting hands-on learning opportunities will further enhance the school's educational programs.

Lisa's appointment follows a rigorous selection process aimed at identifying a visionary leader capable of driving continuous improvement and innovation at NRHS. Her fresh perspectives and energetic approach are poised to make a positive impact on the school community. Lisa will be supported in her transition to her new role by off site Principal Kyle Thompson.
