Nakina Public School

Nakina Public School is located in the Nakina Ontario. The community was established in 1923 as a station railway yard. Today, Nakina is a small northern town known for mineral exploration and a destination for some of the best remote fishing in Canada. The town is located on Highway 58, approximately 60 km from Geraldton Ontario and is home to about 500 residents. The school has an approximate enrollment of 17 students who are supported by 3 Teachers as well as school support staff. Nakina Public School provides a daily breakfast program and extra-curricular activities such as basketball, cross country and volley ball.
