Beardmore Public School
Beardmore Public School is located in the community of Beardmore, near the shores of Lake Nipigon and along Highway 11. The schools approximately 20 Students are supported by 4 educators and additional school support staff. Beardmore is also home to the world's largest snowman and therefore this symbol also serves as the schools mascot. The school services the communities of Beardmore, Jellico and Animbiigoo Zaagi'igan Anishinaabek First Nation.
The Superior-Greenstone District School Board received funding through the COVID-19 Resilience Infrastructure Stream - Education Related Projects as part of Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program (ICIP) funded by the Government of Canada and Ontario.
