Notice to Families: Marjorie Mills Public School Closure - December 3, 2024

Update on December 2, 2024 at 8:39 p.m.

 

Dear Families,

Due to the ongoing water line issue in the community, Marjorie Mills Public School will remain closed on Tuesday, December 3, 2024. The school is currently without water, and out of an abundance of caution, the decision has been made to keep the school closed for the day.

Teachers will be working to provide remote learning opportunities for students to complete from home. Please stay tuned for further communication regarding these materials.

Staff are advised to reach out to the school Principal for further instructions.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work through this situation. Updates will be shared as soon as new information becomes available.

Important Notice for Marjorie Mills Public School Families 

We have been informed by the Municipality about a water line break in the community affecting the school's water supply. To allow for repairs, the water will be turned off.

As a result, Marjorie Mills Public School will be closing early on December 2, 2024.
