We're pleased to inform you that all students of the Schreiber Public School have been safely dismissed from the regular school day.  Students involved in after-school programs are currently on site and will be dismissed at the end of their program.

Subject: Important Notice: Indoor Recess Today

Dear Families,

I am writing to inform you that due to a matter currently being addressed by the OPP (Ontario Provincial Police) at a residence near the Schreiber Public School, we will be holding indoor recess today as a precautionary measure.

Please be assured that we have been informed by authorities that there is no risk to our students or the school.  The decision to have indoor recess is out of an abundance of caution and is purely to ensure the safety and comfort of our students during this time.

Student safety is always our number one priority.  We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter.  If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact the school office.
